Henry Cavill - Man of the Future

If you never heard of Henry before this year, chances are you have now after he has blown up the box office as the newest Kal-El/Clark Kent/Superman in Man of Steel. He hasn't built up a large body of work yet, but it's a respectable amount & has several good films under his belt, most notably, his performance as Albert Mondego in The Count of Monte Cristo when he was just 18 & more recently his portrayal of Charles Brandon in Showtime's The Tudors from 2007 to 2010. After that he starred in the sword & sandals flick, Immortals, as the tormented Theseus in 2011 where he truly made you feel his pain in his Greek mythological world. Regardless of the fact that he is an extremely beautiful man, he absolutely has the ability to pull you in with his most expressive eyes to feel his emotions. He has honed his acting over the years, so he is a pure joy to watch while he makes us all believe a man can really fly.

He's worked with the great Woody Allen in Whatever Works from 2009 that starred Larry David, starred in the hardly seen horror thriller, Blood Creek with Michael Fassbender, & also starred  in 2012's The Cold Light of Day with Bruce Willis & Sigourney Weaver. I've seen all his movies, & highly recommend them, as he puts in a strong performance in all of them. I was even impressed with his first starring role when he was not quite 18, (his character, Tom just graduated college & is in his early 20's), Hotel Laguna (AKA Vendetta), alongside Joe Mantegna that unfortunately was never released in the US. It is available on DVD from Amazon France, & is in English.

Besides having an amazing talent for acting, and his God like physique, he is kind, generous, sweet, & has a killer smile that will win any heart, & best of all, he loves his fans.

He was born & raised in Jersey that is part of the Channel Islands which is located South of England, & just North of France in the English Channel, & has stated in numerous interviews about his father & 4 brothers, (he's the 4th of the 5 sons), all having been in the military, so if his acting career had not taken off, he would have most likely joined up. I am sure I'm not alone in being extremely overjoyed that he has finally made it & will surely continue to entertain the masses for many years to come.

If you haven't seen him in Man of Steel yet, check it out before it's gone from the theaters, it's a must see on a giant theater screen. Check out the official trailers below:
