Happy Birthday Russell!

Happy Birthday today to a major fave of mine for many many years, Russell Crowe! I’ve seen & loved or liked almost all of his movies over the years, & of course my most favorite character besides Gladiator is our own Jor-El from Man of Steel. I haven’t had the chance to see Noah yet, but I’m going this week for sure, as I’ve been wanting to see it so bad. He’s got a new movie due out some time this year in Oz with a great Aussie cast called “The Water Diviner” which sounds good & I hope it gets a US release date, then next year is “Fathers & Daughters” with Amanda Seyfried, Aaron Paul, & Diane Kruger along with several other talented actors. & in development is the long awaited much anticipated “The Dark Tower” by Stephen King, where he’s attached to play the lead, Roland Deschain, AKA the Gunslinger. I can not wait for more news of that project. He’s also been in the music industry for at least 34 years having his own band, TOFOG, (30 Odd Foot of Grunts, & now is called The Ordinary Fear of God, same acronym) Cheers & Best wishes to Russell!!! May he continue to entertain us for many many many years to come! #ManOfSteel #JorEl ❤️ #Gladiator ❤️#Noah #WintersTale #LesMiserables #RobinHood #StateOfPlay #AmericanGangster #310ToYuma #AGoodYear #CinderellaMan #ABeautifulMind #Virtuosity #TheQuickAndTheDead #RomperStomper Music - #GreenDay #BoulevardOfBrokenDreams

Happy Birthday Fassy!

Happiest of birthdays today to one of my very favorite actors, Fassy! I've been a big fan of his for over 8 years now & have watched his blossoming career & will continue to always be "FassyNated"!  He recently won the Empire award for his portrayal of the brutal slave owner, Edwin Epps in the Oscar winning film, 12 Years a Slave & was nominated everywhere for it as well. Next up he will reprise his role as the young Magneto in X-Men: Days of Future Past to be released in May. Then the quirky comedy, "Frank" which at this time only has an official release date in May for Ireland, hopefully we will get a release in the US too. He recently wrapped "Slow West" which is supposed to have a release date this year. He has 5 more films in various stages of production, & I can not wait to hear more about all of them. He will definitely earn that coveted Best Actor Oscar one day, mark my words. Cheers & Best wishes to Michael! If you guys haven't seen some of his films, check out the list I have below in hashtags, I highly recommend all of them. #12YearsASlave #TheCounselor #XMenFirstClass#Prometheus #ADangerousMethod #Shame#JaneEyre #Haywire #JonahHex #Centurion#BloodCreek #FishTank #InglouriousBasterds#Hunger #300 #Stelios #Hex #ABearNamedWinnie #BandOfBrothers

Jameson Empire Awards 2014: Best Supporting Actor - Michael Fassbender

Fassy could not be at the Jameson Empire Award Show on Sunday night, but he did record a video accepting the award for Best Supporting Actor for his portrayal of Edwin Epps in 12 Years a Slave from where he is on location filming his latest project. I just couldn’t resist posting this, I was so happy he finally won & right before his birthday, April 2nd! Congrats, Michael, it’s well deserved! & Happy early Birthday! Cheers! ♥♥♥

Happy Birthday Lee!

Happy Birthday today to another of my very favorite actors, Lee Pace, (AKA Ned the Pie Maker). 🍰 First saw him 10 years ago in the short lived but fantastic series, "Wonderfalls", & then he stole my heart in "Pushing Daisies" & again in "Miss Pettigrew Lives for a Day" with Amy Adams. Since then I've watched his career grow slowly but surely with some good parts & some great parts, most recently as the cruel & conniving congressman in Spielberg's "Lincoln", the sumptuous vampire, Garrett in "Twilight Breaking Dawn part 2", & the breathtakingly beautiful Thranduil in The Hobbit trilogy. I'm looking forward to his next series set to air on AMC in June, "Halt & Catch Fire", & then in August, Marvel's "Guardians of the Galaxy". With the final Hobbit movie bringing up the end of 2014, where we will see the glorious Thranduil once again. **Sigh** Can't wait! ♥♥♥

Can Guy Ritchie's 'The Man From U.N.C.L.E.' Be Cool? | Movie News | Hollywood.com

I sure hope so. I love Guy's movies, even the weird low budget ones before his blockbuster Sherlock movies with RDJ & Jude. I actually was a fan of the old TV series when it ran on TV even though I was a kid, (because I was a huge Bond fan & it was that type of show). So, I have high hopes for this even though The Lone Ranger failed to be the next Disney franchise they were hoping for. Armie truly is a gifted actor & personally I thought The Lone Ranger was a ton of fun. & you guys all know how I feel about Henry Cavill already, so if this movie fails at the box office, I will be one super disappointed be-otch. We shall see, it opens in Jan. 2015.

Below are a couple of cool fan made posters for the new movie.

Hopefully Warner will give us a teaser poster soon.

Travolta/Barbarino at the Oscars 2014. Someone had to do it!

When I watched Travolta try to introduce Idina Menzel, & called her "Adele Dazim" at the Oscars the other night, the 1st thing I thought was, WTF??? John Travolta is still Vinnie Barbarino. Poor John will never live this one down. It's gone so viral, especially with the fun "Travoltified" app everyone can use for their own names. Hehehe, I just had to try & make a silly mashup.

2014 Oscars Heroes Montage

Gosh, I love this heroes montage from the Oscars last night. The Best Thing Ever.
